Terms and Conditions
GENERAL INFORMATION
COLAS MODERN LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. For this reason we encourage you to review these Terms and Conditions whenever you purchase products from us or use our Web Site.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Online Purchases: COLAS MODERN offers ready to ship items and made to order furniture products in our online shop and require full payment of the purchase price to initiate order fulfillment including cartoning, crating, and shipping charges.
In Store Purchases: COLAS MODERN products can be purchased from our facility where we will work with you personally to fulfill your order. Each product is made to order and will require 50% deposit of the purchase price to initiate order fulfillment including cartoning, crating, and shipping charges. Remaining balances will be due two weeks prior to completion of production and delivery.
COLAS MODERN reserves the right to change prices and specifications without notice; written product and freight quotations are valid for a period of 30 days unless otherwise specified.
ORDER LEAD TIMES:
COLAS MODERN furniture products are made to order in 3-12 weeks. Production schedule and lead-times for each product is an approximation and varies depending on the quantity and selection of products per order. Order lead-times will start once COLAS MODERN has received full payment from customer to begin production. The full payment is required to meet the expected lead-time. COLAS MODERN will not be liable for any production delay or inaccuracy of the approximated completion and delivery dates.
Expedited Orders: Orders can be expedited upon request at an additional fee on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to expedite an order.
SHIPPING:
Shipping quotations and estimated ship times are an approximation and are subject to change at any time. A firm ship date will only be confirmed once the order is in production. Please contact us for an estimate to the “SHIP TO” address.
DELIVERY & CUSTOMER PICK UP POLICY:
Local Deliveries: Products are shipped from our Savannah production facility to your delivery address via COLAS MODERN. All local orders within a 40 mile radius will receive the option of white glove delivery which can be arranged with our representatives.
Non-Local Deliveries: Products are shipped to your delivery address via a third party carrier in coordination with our representatives.
Pick Up: Orders pick ups can be arranged from our production facility on Mon.- Fri. between the hours of 10:00 AM-4:00 PM with a minimum of 48 hours notice.
CANCELLATIONS/RETURNS:
Order confirmations may be cancelled in writing within five (5) business days of receipt of payment refunded without penalty. Orders that are placed in production cannot be changed, returned or cancelled. If a customer is not satisfied with the order, COLAS MODERN will work with the customer to fix the issue however COLAS MODERN will not guarantee the return of any product.
PRODUCT VARIATIONS:
COLAS MODERN utilizes materials and processes that create final products with slight color, texture and pattern variations. These variations are inherent in the materials used due to the handcrafted nature of the product and are part of what make the products unique and celebrated. If COLAS MODERN submits a custom sample for buyer’s approval of color, pattern, or general appearance, it is understood that slight variations are possible between custom samples and production material.
PROPER CARE AND HANDLING:
Customer should take care and refer to our instructions on our website and catalog for proper care of the products when using, cleaning, handling and storing the product to prevent damage to it.
GUARANTEE:
COLAS MODERN guarantees our products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for up to one (1) year following the original purchase date. Defects do not include variations or imperfections in the wood and/or metal due to the handcrafted nature of our products which is what makes each product unique and celebrated. This guarantee applies under the conditions of normal use for indoor purposes and does not extend to damage resulting from shipping, installation, accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, improper cleaning, exposure to chemicals, sunlight, liquids, negligent abuse, ordinary wear and tear, or any other reason other than defects in materials or workmanship.To the best of our ability and discretion, we will repair or replace items that fall under this guarantee.
DESIGNS
All products shown in our catalog, on our website, and described in our pricing guide remain our property and we reserve the right to manufacture the products shown and make changes in prices, dimensions, design and/or construction without prior notice. All dimensions are approximate.
